Lilla Cseke

My name is Csilla and I’m a runner. Running is not just a sport for me, it’s part of my life. But it wasn’t always like this. I wasn’t a sporty child, I preferred arts (music, singing and folksdance). I ran just at the occassion of P.E. lessons. I liked it, but I didn’t feel like doing it. Sometimes I went running, but I started doing it regularly 3 years ago. I joined the Márton Team 2 years ago, and since that time I’ve been training to be a better runner with the help of my coach, Attila Márton. It was a long wayfull of experience from my first 10km run to my first 100km. I hope I can do this way of life further, which gives me pleasure, but it is sometimes painful. It’s worth the pain and suffering, if there’s a goal. I am willing to take part in voluntary works and join charity initiatives even as an organisator. I look for those opportunities, when support is needed. I want to help through running, and not to do it just for myself, but to make benefit for others.

Main achievements:
-6 hour National Championships -first woman
-100km National Championships – first woman
-Balaton Supermaraton – first woman
-Ultra-Tisza-lake – first woman

A foundation isn’t complete without volunteers. Like a bird without wings. So we’re really grateful for your support. Thank you so much!
